To view the list of subdomains:
In the System Menu on the navigation bar at left, click Subdomains.
The Subdomain List form displaying a list of subdomains owned by you. The columns in this form are:
Name - The name of the hosted subdomain.
CGI - This column indicates whether the subdomain is configured to run scripts on the site. If marked for CGI-compliance, a check mark appears against the corresponding subdomain. A cross appears for subdomains that do not have CGI capability.
DNS - This column indicates whether the name server used for name resolution is the WEBppliance DNS server or a non-WEBppliance DNS server. A check mark appears against the subdomain, if a DNS entry for the subdomain is made in the WEBppliance DNS server. A cross appears for subdomains that do not have an entry in the WEBppliance DNS server.
Aliases - An alias allows you to refer to a subdomain by a nickname or an alternative name. This column indicates whether the subdomain is enabled to inherit aliases from the parent domain. Alias-enabled subdomains are indicated by a check mark, while a cross appears for subdomains that do not inherit alias definitions. For example, if a parent domain, www.yourdomain.com, with the associated alias, www.yourdomain.net, has a subdomain sales.yourdomain.com and the subdomain is configured to inherit alias capability from the parent domain, then you can access the subdomain, sales.yourdomain.com, using the inherited alias, sales.yourdomain.net.
Important: A subdomain cannot have alias definitions if the parent domain on which it is hosted is not configured with alias capability.
Actions - This column allows you to view subdomain details.
