About the Web server
The Web server manages Internet communications and transactions for your site. The server answers requests from browsers, retrieves requested files, executes CGI scripts, and returns document or script results.
The Web server also manages data-transaction security through SSL encryption keys and certification, as well as security for files stored in password-protected directories.
Web server management tasks include:
Viewing your Web server settings
Viewing your Web server log reports
Securing your domain using SSL Certification
Setting up protected directories on the server
Creating the groups for protected directories
Managing the users in protected directory groups
Accessing the Microsoft FrontPage administration interface (if enabled)
